Viņas del Golf combines the twin pleasures of fine wine with golf on a peaceful country estate to create a truly indulgent experience. Situated at the foot of the Sierra Pintada in the Andean foothills, some 20 km from San Rafael, Viņas del Golf provides over 350 Hectares of vineyards, golf course, fruit plantations and traditional country-lodge accommodation.
The winery was designed with the object of producing wines of the best quality. Using processes only possible with small volumes they have succeeded in creating a very special range.The wines are produced from Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet, Syrah, Bonarda, Verdot, Chardonnay and Semillon varieties in a small modern variety in a vat with a capacity of only 80,000 litres. To sit on the winery terrace overlooking the golf course, sampling the wines direct from the barrel, is a true pleasure.
Surrounding the vineyards and amongst the fruit groves, is the nine hole championship golf course and a picturesque driving range. The course covers some 3,600 yards with 5 different starting tees to enable players of all skills, from beginners to professionals, to enjoy their golf.
