Fincas CALEDONIA is a family-owned business, in the Province of Mendoza, run by Ronald Mackay and Viviana Galleno. Ronald is originally from Coupar Angus near Dundee, Scotland. Viviana is from Lima, Peru. Ronald’s great-grandfather, Robert Sword, left Scotland for Argentina in the late 1800s. Viviana’s family migrated from Rome to the Province of Mendoza, Argentina in the 1920s and helped to develop wine production there. Later they moved to Peru.
